What I Love Most about Modeling by B. Woodard
Caught this sign yesterday while out of town at Target and it really does sum up a few ups and downs, literally and figuratively. 🤦🏽‍♀️
Going to NYC to shoot over the years, I’ve met some pretty cool people on and off set. And because I’ve worked with the same crews for years we’ve gotten to know each other pretty well. But I learned that if representation truly mattered, then it was gonna be important to talk about hair, products, and even makeup when things just didn’t work...for me. (Like the “side pony”.) Rarely is it comfortable but it always feels like exactly the right thing to do. And once the conversation starts, it flows like a river. If I love anything, it’s seeing the world and new experiences. And LOVE finding my right fit. Love when you do too. And Sometimes it’s gonna take speaking up...and rolling on. ❤️-Bellen
