I’m a child & grandchild of HBCU (& PWIs) grads. And I know this is important so I’m listening. And the stands taken by @nikolehannahjones and also by the student body President @lamargrichards & students have been something to see…to think about. It’s about the freedom to be you—whomever you are—so that even when you doubt all sorts of things, you never, ever have to doubt the value of your existence.
